Welcome to the 25th year of the Gujarati Samaj of Greater Pittsburgh. This coming year, we will celebrate our Silver Jubilee Anniversary with a number of exciting cultural, music and social programs.

The 2007 committee has set a high bar with a highly successful past year. I personally thank Shambhavi Desai and her committee for their guidance and commitment.

Since 1984, our Samaj has steadily grown into a "giant family"! Over the past two decades, the organization has been a powerful voice within the Pittsburgh region through the celebration of our Gujarati culture and traditions. The 2008 Committee begins this Gala year with the blessings, good wishes, and assistance from all members of our community, especially our revered elders. My committee is looking forward to working hard and serving the Samaj this year with diverse programs and activities.

The Executive Committee welcomes all members to contact us with your suggestions and ideas. The Gujarati Samaj succeeds with your active involvement and participation. Together let us make this special year truly memorable.
